Default Didnt last long....

Well fellaz, Ive had my car for a little over a month now, and this afternoon my intake decided to crack on me, so Im thinking. My car started smoking horribly from the fenderwells, so I pulled over to a parking lot to take a look. All the coolant leaked out of it, but I couldnt really see where it was coming from. I put more coolant in, started it up, and my buddy said it was leaking from the intake directly behind the alt. Pouring out...guess my intakes crap huh?? where do I go from here, on a pretty limited budget, gonna have to let it sit for a lil while no matter what I do, but what is my next step? OEM replacement will probably be "cheapest", but I can prolly get used PI cams and intake for the same price?? maybe?? just lookin for a little advice and a few opinions...

PI cams - $100
PI intake - $100
Installation kit (gaskets, heater hos, etc) - $75

Result: 35-45 RWHP and a hell of a better driving experiance.

and also i thought if you bought the intake you either had to get the heads, or get an adapter kit?

where can i find deals like these ^^^ im not a very savvy ebay searcher, for some reason. Also, I have no plans of swapping heads, so what exactly will be needed for the pi intake to work on npi heads, and will the pi cams work without any mods?? I do have knowledgable help in doing the labor, so I just wanted to have my sh%# in a pile so we can tackle this with no problems. thanks again fellaz..

If you're poor you can go to the wreakers for a replacement standard intake. That'll get you back on the road quickest & cheapest

haha, im not exactly "poor", but not far from it i guess.....if this is such a common problem with these intakes, i dont want to get another junk one. Will aftermarket pi intakes have the same problem?? Id be willing to save-up a couple hundred bucks and get something more reliable, especially since labor is only gonna cost me a couple of lunches and a case of beer
