New track times + pics
Just got back from Gainesville Raceway today. I ran a best of 14.159 which was kind of disappointing. The best part of the day was when I lined up with a C5 Corvette and surprised him with a 0.005 second reaction time. I had the lead until about the end of 3rd gear. I bet he was pissed off haha. Here's some pictures, enjoy. (BTW my car # is 21)
Getting the jump on the 'vette
Getting smoked by a muscle car...I think it was a Chevelle but it was gutted and had no badges.
Check out the Reaction Times!

Thanks guys...
Not trying to make excuses, but does it make a big difference if my tank was 3/4 full? People were telling me I should've went with 1/4 tank. By the way, Florida weather is disgusting, it was 80+ degrees and humid.
I don't think I need to work on my shifting as much as my launches because with drag radials and 4.10's I couldn't pull a 60 foot under 2 seconds. Maybe my burnouts were too short, I don't like to abuse my car.
I launched at 3000 rpm for every one of these runs, maybe I shoulda went higher.
The first timeslip:
R/T .075
60' 2.068
330 6.024
1/8 9.188
MPH 77.70
100011.897
1/4 14.159
MPH 99.97
second timeslip:
R/T .005
60' 2.128
330 6.197
1/8 9.413
MPH 77.15
1000 12.153
1/4 14.425
MPH 100.94 (finally broke 100)
