Going to CHROME my own wheels!

Going to CHROME my own wheels!
Not really...but I am going to use some paint stripper and I will be fully exposing all the chrome on myCobra wheels. It's a no-brainer, but Sunday I'll document my steps along with photographs and give anyone atleast a visual guide to removing the paint off the inside of their factory chrome wheels.
The stock Chrome Cobra wheels are pretty nice, but the painted inner wheel looks cheesey. I prefer the look of a full chrome wheel...

Yeah, but you'll have unpolished aluminum under the wheels. It'll havea significant haze & if I remember right everything but the lip of the wheel is coarse and would need to be sanded & then polished . It'd be a lot of work.
If you have chrome wheels from the factory, this will be the way to remove the paint and expose an entirely chrome wheel, such a cleaner look.
On my 02 GT, instead of getting chrome wheels I stripped the paint off the lip, did a couple hours worth of 800-1500grit wet sanding, put on a little polish & then waxed, they came out with a scratchless mirror finish. This isn't the best picture...I'm an idiot sometimes.

Hey Dan... I thought I saw a writeup of this over on svtp. Is that where your instructions are from or are you making your own?
