Default Trap speeds and times

What would a stock GT trap in the quarter mile?

How much of a difference would 4.10's make in quarter mile time and trap speed?

I have never driven my car at the track because I have only owned it since september and it is hibernating for the winter. This spring I am going to go early on an amateur night without and friends to make me nervous. Basically, I don't want to go to the track with all my friends (SRT-4, Integra GSR, Old Firebird Formula and maybe a WRX) and run a 15 on my first passes because I have never done it before. I want to at least run with the stock SRT-4. He has never been to the track either and only bought it about 3 days ago.

I know that stock I can take the GSR and Firebird seeing as though the GSR is rated at a 15.4 in the quarter and the Firebird lost to him from a dig on the streets. Plus he will just drop the clutch at the track because he doesn't know track conditions.

A stock gt runs in the low 14's at around 98-99mph. Considering it will be your first time to the track, dont expect to much. Perfecting your launch and shifting is the key to good times. Considering your friend with SRT-4 is new to his car also, he should be having the same problems too. Although a well driven SRT-4 is supposedly a little faster then our cars, I've never lost to a stocker. 4.10's I believe are good for around 3th's of second maybe more or less. The thing to remember is that everyone has had to learn one way or the other. Dont bring your friends and get out there and practice. With some experience under your belt you can go kick some @$$. Good luck

Stock I ran 14.1

4.10's and a 100 deg temp I ran a 13.8 @ 99.XX

add the 50 shot on the same day and 13.4@104 with a slow 2.0 60'

You should walk the GSR!!!! it will be closewith the SRT..

MY first time to the track I started out with a 15.XX followed by 14.6 then 14.4 a couple of times and got a best of 14.1 @ like 98.6 with a 2.19 60'

You'll be nervous anyway. When you stage and those lights start coming down your left leg (clutch leg) will be twitching and jumping like crazy. I've been racing at the track for quite a few years and I still get that. I guess its just the adrenaline and the excitement of racing.
