Hey Randy, my 04 GT has 17X9.5 Welds//275/40s all the way around and there is absolutely no rubbing, however, mine is not lowered but I do have some clearance to play with. My traction improved when I had sub-frame connectors installed out of a factory Cobra. I heard someone talking about cheater slicks which is a street/slick type tire. Not sure who makes them and what size you can get but heard they dig into the asphault much better than street tires. Traction is an issue with these cars and I still have to watch for that squirly rearend!! Im happy with the look and am looking to go about 1.5" lower soon. Check it out!

JD...have you seen the new weld on Jegs.com w/ the gold anodized center? I think those would look WICKED on either your car or a black car.

If they weren't so expensive I'd put them on the future list for the fox.

I went with 18x9's in the front on 265 35's and 18x10.5 on the rear with 295's and they fit perfect! the only thing I would rub on is the e-brake cable in the rear. the tires were perfectly flush with the fenders...dont do 11's you dont need them that big. btw my car was lowered about 2in all the way around, and with toyo proxies that baby hooked up!

Do you have any pics of your car w/that wheel and suspension setup? I have been wondering how big I could go front and rear w/a drop. Thanks in advance
