Default Jegs 4.10 gears

Well i've searched around and so far, Jegs has the cheapest set of 4.10s that i saw. Anyone have gears from jegs? I understand cheapest price sometimes means cheapest quality, but i've never heard anything bad about jegs before so who knows. Ill be ordering them real soon, i'd like to get them swapped out by this weekend. Thanks guys

Jegs FRPP 4.10 - $211, free shipping
AM FRPP 4.10 - $226 with discount, free shipping
AM Motive 4.10 - $150 with discount, free shipping
Summit P FRRP 4.10 - $215 + shipping

Jegs is a good company. and do have the cheapest... dont think you will have any problems.

Damn thanks for that rundown man, appreciate it. Any reason Motive is so cheap? Or would you suggest just going with FRPP? I dont plan on doing any heavy racing (once or twice this summer), i just want a little quicker street car.

I went with frpp cuz some shops dont like to install motives... but theres absolutely nothing wrong with Motives..
Just dont get Richmond gears or you will end up shooting yourself like 5 days later... Gear Whine is annoying !!

I just installed the jegs kit 555-60027k Sat....nothing wrong with kit at all....I wondered what the gears where and it turns outthey are in fact MOTIVE white box gears.....seems jegs doesnt want to tell you so this morning for kicks and giggles ....I found out for sure,,underneath the jegs label is part number f88410....which is motives....part number(white box)....go figure.....I'm really happy with the swap....only thing it doenst have is the axle bearings and seals...which I bought locally...but dang,,,redline gear lube,,posi additive and everything else....!!!

Yea it says online that they're motives lol. Ill probably get their gearing kit on their site to go with whatever i get, it comes with everything he'll need to swap them out. Would a Posi rebuild kit also be worth the money? As far as i know, the LS works just finewith minimalslack between wheels and driveshaft, but if i have him under there (andpaying him per hour)i figure i might as well do all i need to do. Btw, my stang has 97k miles on it.

I was wondering that myself...I asked a couple local mustang guys who have 4.10s and they said they wished they would have gone with 4.30s.Whar is your 5th gear like? I do a lot of cruising, and with high mileage (and a not-so-healthy engine)i dont want to have it cruise at 3grand going 50, you know?
