Default Oil Pan Removal

I think I gave it too much timing.. I believe I have just spun a bearing. I was wondering if any one has ever tried to take off oil pan while motor is still in car? I would prefer to diagnose it without pulling motor first if not necessary.[:@]

I'm not sure if you can get it out of there with out pulling it. If you can't you could unbolt the engine mounts and lift the enigne a couple inches with a hoist. Then drop the K-member out from under it.

You can do it but it will be alot more work then just pulling the engine and a big disappointment when you cant tell if you spun a bearing. You have to pull the caps to tell if its spun.
