How low is too low?

How low is too low?
I've been thinking about lowering my 01' GT for a while now, but I dont want to go too low with it. I used to own a turbo supra and I lowered it... but way way too low to I dont want to do the same.
Right now at stock height I think the car looks a little like an SUV, so I want to drop it without getting clearence issues. Would mach 1 springs be a good idea? they drop it roughly .8". Enough to reduce the wheel gap atleast a little bit.
thanks

RE: How low is too low?
i have eibach pro springs....most people on here do....they only drop you about an 1.5" or so.....the Eibach sportlines drop you about 2" which i think is too low....you have the options of H and R and FRPP springs....and a few others. i think with 18'sabout an 1" to 1.5" is perfect.....

It's all in what you like. Make sure that you have good ground clearance with your midpipe (if aftermarket). I like the Eibach Pro-Kit or FRPP lowering springs. I don't like the slammed look on the mustangs.
