Default Will my future mods reach me my goal?

I currently have a 1997 GT, auto, 44k miles on the original motor.
It is a full bolt on, and i have a SQ Trim mongoose kit waiting to be installed with a 255 walbro intank pump, and a MPH boost pipe.
I am going to get the kit installed and my car dynotuned to see where i am at.
I am then going to install a PI Intake Manifold and some custom grind blower cams.
I will then again get the car re dynoed and tuned.
My final steps of the car will be to add a Paxton A/A intercooler, a Mini race bypass valve, and then put a smaller pulley on the blower due to the loss of lbs from the cams and i/c.
I will obviously get the car redynoed again.
All of this will be done in the following stages i just listed.
Do you think this setup along with all the bolt ons will reach me my goal of 385-400rwhp??

thanks guys

Not to beat around the bush on your question but how come you aren't doing a head swap?

Id say you'd be close. Don't be dissappointed if you're at 350-370 after all that tho. Maybe if you have some heavy porting and polishing of your heads in conjunction with all the other stuffcould you see 400 rwhp.

i dont want to have to worry about detonation with the increase in compression. I'm running 10lbs and if i did the headswap id be able to run like no more than 8.

You should look into a set of SVO heads. They are the best stock flow 2v head. The chamber volume is 53cc comparied to the 43cc of the pi heads so the c/r would be lower. The SVO heads use a npi bolt pattern of the intake though. So you would have to use your crappy old intake or buy the SVO intake( which is a really good set up)

I think you'll get there. If not, you'll definitely be close. But why not do the PI swap first and get it out the way?

Either way, with cams and the PI swap I think you should reach your goal.

Dude, I been trying to tell you about doing a full PI swap. If you are really worried about compression get some Cometic head gaskets to lower comp. down a bit

i know and im sure i can get some great results out of it...but this is my only car. I just feel way more comfortable not having to worry about anything on that matter. Its not like if i blow this motor i can just jump in my other car and use that. I am a college student and i use this car roughly from march-november...the other months i am car-less. If i had another car to reassure me i would definately do the swap, but from talking to people/mustang shops, the heads aren't THAT much of a big deal, as long as i do the intake/cams. I feel much safer just doing that. Believe me lizzyfan, if this was a car that i could just keep in the garage and had another car to drive around in i would have done the exact same setup as you!
