I dont think you need to unless you're going hard core nitrous or FI but you said ur going NA so id say nay. Well guys i talked to the guy im working with from patriot performance and he said 99% of the time on the 270's you have to flycut the pistons so i may be sending them back and getting some 262's. I didnt want to have to get into the bottom end at all.

I say all those guesses are correct. Im sure you will be over 300.

If you were 11.0-11.5:1 CR,I'dsay you would be 310+.

What cams is that??? Take that manifold+heads to a machine shop and let them port match the Typhoon to the Patriot's. The typhoon is a little rough on the inside from the factory.

Nice choice on the N/A stuff. Its a whole different world. You wont be disappointed. Congrats. Glad to have another 300+rwhp stang amoung us.
Thanks man. You think i could port the Typhoon a little myself with a drimmel tool. I know what im doing when it comes to porting or is it something that needs to be machined. Yeah im like you bro all about N/A power. I figure the 300ish rwhp plus the 4.10 gears will REALLY make a huge difference in my life.

What set of Comp cams are those? I guess you could do the work yourself. It just needs to be smoothed out a bit. Its a litte rough in there. Wouldnt make a huge difference, but when you are going THIS big, do it right the first time.
I was thinking about hand porting and asked my tuner about it. He said that the only problem with that is if you port the heads or the intake there is a possibility of doing it unevenly. Creating uneven A/F mixture in specific cylinders. My tuner is very good and has one of the fastest turbo v6 mustang in the country. I believe him...

Well ya everyone knows that so you really have to measure how much you take off of each port so you can really do it evenly. But it seems like PP is notorious for having rough edges and i think he meant more like smoothing out the rough parts than actually porting then larger.
