Who has "exhaust cut-outs"? where the pressure is dumped at headers...
Where it dumps out the pressure at the headers instead of going thru the exhaust....what kinda power gains can that be (if any)...i saw the cutouts at 60 or so dollars...do they come with a switch to open n close the valve thing...

If anything, you're going to lose power. When i took my x-pipe off (basically what you're saying) to do some tranny work, i drove it around without it on, and it was horribly slower. I just couldnt build up any speed. The seat-of-pants feel when i put the pipe back on was night and day. If you just want it for sound, then by all means. There is nosweeter sound than dumping right off the longtubes.

You will lose low end torque because it moves up the power band. You will gain high end torque. There is a system out that is computer controlled and opens the dumps at a certain RPM.

I got my x-pipe off right now, i'll go take a video of it tonight so you can get an idea.
