I have the stock gears on my 01 Gt Vert, I am also running a KB. I know a lot of people have changed gears and I need some info. The people at KB say gears dont do much good. Does anyone here have performance numbers for both before and after the gear changes? I know everyone says you can feel the difference but I am looking for actual numbers. Thanks in advance.

I don't think you're going to see any of the kinds of numbers you're talking about...gears don't increase the actual power output of the car, persay. However, at least on N/A cars, gears will pick up several tenths in the 1320'. You'll have to talk to some of the FI guys about that though...most of them seem to have at least 3.73's.

WIth something like a KB you really dont want to go anymore than 3.73

you can pick .3 to a full second with 4.10's alot factors come into play , but I would say 3/10's min.

+1 even with 3.73's first gear will be rendered useless with the instant tq and boost from that blowzilla.

Thats kinda what I thought. Right now it actually hooks up pretty good, just wanted to confirm my suspicions.

Maybe try 3.55's
