Where do they get claims like these? Does that even make sense? Anyone feel any difference with that oil?

I saw them test is on like two dude garage on a stock 02Gt they changed everyting to Rp and picked up 10 there. but you know sales people

I saw something on the tv show trucks one time where they test this oil out. It showed a slight difference on the dyno but i dont remember the exact num. I use royal purple in my 02 gt and i cant feel any kind of difference.

Its kind of common sense if you think about it. Less friction = less heat, more power. Personally, I noticed a difference when I switched to synthetic.

yeah.. there was an article in HOT-ROD magazine few years ago where they changed the engine, transmission, and diff fluid and saw these type of gains. I'm pretty sure it was an auto car though, where the tranny fluid would really shine.

so for our 99-04 5spd stangs it wouldnt make much of a difference? does that company have dyno results to prove their claim?

If you claim to 'feel' the power difference by switching to synthetic it's in your heard. I use mobil 1 synthetic and there was no difference. Hell i'm not even sure I could notice after installing a full exhaust, the different power levels.

I call BS. Oil by itself cannot make you gain 9HP.
