If you guys had 2K to spend.....
Besides gears, what would you spend it on? I want the most horsepower I can get (which wont be much). I was thinking cams?

you could get an extremely nice nitrous setup. That will give you the most hp for 2 grand

A nitrous setup would definitely be the most bang for your buck. However, if you didn't want to go that route, you could save up another grand or so and get the Mongoose kit from MPH.
