Default Gauge Install Help

Does anybody have an article on how to install an electric fuel pressure gauge in a mustang?

I have a 2 gauge pod on my 04 gt pillar.

Thanks,
Chris

i just installed my guages last week, fuel pressure was the easiest one.

i take it your car is an 04. so your going to need a fuel rail adapter first, i got an nx unit from summit. this is where your sender is going to hook up to, mine fit perfectly, just make sure to use some thread locker. for the ground i just used a bolt by the fuse box.

your going to want to go down to the autozone and get some mini add-a-circuits. connect the red wires to one and the white wires to another one.stick the red wired one into fuse block 20 and the white ones into fuse block 37 i belive(right numbers but may be white-20 and red-37). they will dim with your other interior lights.

Yep! Thats what I dropped on my adapter. Thats the only way to hook it up since there is no schrader vale on the 04's fuel rail. The same NX one previously mentioned. Just find a good power source and ground and you'll be set. Make sure you don't twist the adapter onto the fuel rail. I did and broke an o-ring. One of my buddies who owns Performance Fuel Systems reccommended using a little vaseline petroleum jelly on the o-rings not only to aid the slipping of theadapter onto the railon but to prevent the rings from dry rotting over time.

so I would have to buy 2 since I need one for the fuel pressure gauge and another for the nitrous because it needs fuel?
