I decided to try out the digital diagnostic on my dash this morning, and found something odd...
When I got to the oil pressure display.. it was all zeroes. The engine was running, and my oil pressure
needle was showing normal pressure. How is that possible? If the computer was getting a pressure reading, then the digital readout should show it... even if the needle guage was broken.. but the other way around?

Any thoughts?

Everyone who fools around this digital dash freaks out about DTC codes & weird readings with their oil pressure. Never fails to confuse people.

I was just about to post a "nevermind"

Aparently this thing reads oil pressure backwards.. 0 being normal... and the higher the reading, the lower the oil pressure... *shrug*

It's all pretty goofy. I wish people wouldn't post how to do the digital read outs. As you've found out why. [8D]

ok so i dont need to check the wires or anything? i appreciate the info. i guess the only thing its good for is to double check your needles if you put new gauge overlays (ie reverse glow, white face , etc)
