Default Got Keyed

I just got my car keyed a few days ago and it is bad. They went completly through the paint and primer. Is there an easier way to fix it than getting a new paint job.

Sorry to hear about that! I can't believe how disrespectful some people are to cars. It's not like the car can defend its self.

Well yesterday i put some touch up paint on it and it looks ok from far away, but it sucks up close. But it is better that a huge white scratch on a black car.

Well you might be able to get away with the touch up paint if you lay it on the scratches a lil thick then let it dry and then sand it with like 2000 grit sandpaper then compound and wax it nice

Wouldn't this be covered by insurance or something? Did you file a police report?

They can't prove you did do it either. The burden of proof is on them, not you. I can't believe they
would use an excuse like that. Its pure vandalism and it should be covered under your policy. If not your
car policy, try your homeowners policy. What are you paying premiums for?

I say file a police report. Then maybe insurance will cover it because you have an offical report. It is worth a try.
