if you take out the back seat and spare you dont have to worry about weight. its the same maybe 10 pounds more.
i just used 3/4 mdf. very sturdy wood. table saw, jig saw, router, sand paper, loc tite ahesive for the suede. to hold it down. liquid nail to hold wood pices together, 1 1/2 nails. and for the box to fit where i put it. it only can be 11 inches tall at most because of how the mach 460 amps are.
its 11 inches tall, 15 inches deep, and 25 inches wide.
the face plate is wider than the box just to fill up the gaps on the side.
just take your time and anything you can imagine will start to come together, and you dont have to pay 300 dollars or more for a custom box. the box alone cost me maybe 50 at most including wood, liquid nail, suede, vynal, and adhesive for the suede.
