well if you SC first then build your block you might have to upgrade to a T trim down the line. or just upgrade to the T trim now and build the block later, then you can run some serious boost

Excellent topic.. I have been pondering the same question.

I am on the fence myself. I'd hate to spend the $ on NA and have wished I went SC after driving it a couple of months.

How about install pricing? Approx. how much have you S/C guys paid for install (mongoose kit) and approx how much on Cams/Heads install?

ORIGINAL: MarineCorps03GT

Will I see more power, lower 1/4 times, and lower60fttimesfrom... a mongoosevortechkit... or Patriot heads, a DSS 5.0Stroker kit, andComp cams (which of course includes new valve springs, 3.73s, and2400+ torqueconverter)? They're basically the same price, that's why I ask... thanks.
you will gain 100+hp from the Mongoose kit...

from heads/cams maybe 50hp
stroker kit won't add much in the way of hp but will add some tq.

i'd do the blower first...and its easier to install.

You can get 100 plus INSTANT HP with a push of a button too for like $500[8D]

You can always get those cool things that go in your exhaust... they kinda look like a snail... They make all sourts of funny noises.. LOL man I wish I could afford Turbos

i say mongoose kit, even though i am biased...

more power/$...way LESS installation cost, and as stated you can always up the boost on your current S/SQ/T trim if you ever forge the motor...plus you can brag that you have a blown GT
