If I turn the overdrive off in my 98 GT, what does that do? Do I get better gas milegae around town? haha That would be great.

Its basically taking your last gear away from you. There really isnt ever a reason to not have it on.

Maybe the auto's are different in the Mach, but when drag racing it is recomended that you turn the O/D off, going into 4th at high rpms can stretch the bands.. some have been destroyed using the nitrous and forgeting to turn off the O/D.

Other than that i agree there is no reason to turn it off.
