4.30 Gears
I was thinking of getting these instead of 4.10s but im afraid they may be too unstreetable. I am N/A do i need the most bang for my buck but 4.56 is just way too radical so idk. Who here has or ever had experience with 4.30's?

4.30s are way to much, espically if you don't run a drag radial.
Frankly, I don't see how people run a 4.10 gear without D/Rs. My car had enough traction problems with the 3.73s and the BFG's (regular radials) I had on before the nittos.
My car acutally was slower with 3.73s than the stocker 3.27s off the line before the drag radials. The car would spin thru 1st, spin a bunch in 2nd, bog down, and then finnally catch traciton.
I can't imainge how fast the 1/2 shift must be with 4.30s... I am a fan of gear, but not that much unless its a sticky tire/strip only car.

I'm going to go that route myself. I think it will be fine, it will just be a matter of learning how to drive with them. You can't launch as hard or hit second as hard I'm sure, or you will spin and go nowhere. I say do it and just take the time to learn how to drive it properly.

glad you did not sell your car ben!
when i was deciding btw 4.10's and 4.30's i figured in the elevation (i'm ~4200).i just did not want to have to shift to fifth in the quarter. i went with the 4.10's and they are PLENTY of gear. first will spin to redline in two seconds if i'm not carefull.

Well i live on a dirt road so im not going to go with drag radials for this car becuase itll chew them up in no time. I am concerned about the traction issues though and so in that case i may go for 4.10's or 3.73's but im really leaning towards 4.10's.

RE: 4.30 Gears
I'd say stick with the 4.10's... I just wouldnt go any more than that. If you wanted to run DR's and done alot of strip racing, then I'd say get the 4.30's. I think you'll be satisfied with the pull of 4.10's tho.
Side Note: 1000 posts for me... never thought I'd see it.
