Ford's aren't built how they should be, you are confusing a supercars reliability issues with a grocery getter also called a Sports Car. There is not an 1/8th of the technology in a Mustang than there is in other big buck sports cars. That's how it might skirt the typical high performance car reliability issues....

Go buy yourself an F150, Ford Five Hundred, Fusion ETC and if you happen to be one of the many people to end up with an unreliable, rattling plastic box on wheels you'll be like a vast majority of Ford's previous owners that say "I'll never buy another Ford".

While Domestic quality has improved much in the past 10 years, their customer service falls well below the Foreign automakers who still believe the Customer Is Always Right. Bottom line is, even a MUSTANG has countless issues that were evident from the early 80's & they are still an issue up until the 05 Mustang, still the new Mustang is still working out some of it's major & minor quirks. It's luck of the draw basically, sometimes people consistantly get reliable cars & others have nothing but massive headaches with one automaker.

When i was growing up my dad always had vettes, atleast 5. He had and Iroc-Z28 new in 85 or 86. He had always had minor problems with the vettes, but the Maro was a lemon. He had it for like 8 months and some how got them to take it back.
