So what is the best way to insulate a wire that is being tapped in to?

What is the best soldering gun for automotive applications? Will a 25w work?

A 25W iron will work, however for heavier wire gauges a 100/140 actual "gun" is better-- Weller has made their 140/100 for at least 30 years, it's a great tool that will last 30 years as well.[/align][/align]I have had a Weller 140/100 for 35 years or so, I also have a 325/200 (an older version of the 300/200) that's at least 20 years old...[/align]
