As we all know CAI's dont do anything but i need a shiney piece to go with my new manifold and valve covers and tb/ui. This looks just as good as any IMO. Whadyaguys think?

im in the same boat as you, shopping for a CAI. i hear these ebay kits are hit or miss in terms of quality, some come without proper hardwar. sometimes they dont fit right. sometimes they are perfect. might as well spend the extra cash on a product you know is quality. the mac/bbk cai looks very similar to the ebay ones.

i just bought a accufab tb/plenum used off another forum, i think i am going to get a JLT RAI to go with it.

Well a friend of mine with an 01 got this exact one. It works great for him and it cam with all the shiit he needed so idk im thinking about it. I dont need to spend anymore cash on this car lol

get a decent intake i mean they do provide decent results. get a wider one than that.. more cooler airflow to your tb more power.

Don't bother with BOMZ. The only part of that I use now are the clamps, rubber connections and the pipe. The filter is crap. Even though you just want some bling, go with better quality. This thing is a piece. Not to mention I think, as mentioned already, it was missing a clamp to begin with and a few bolts among other things.

200 is too much for a cai... and some of these cai's are 300ish[:@]

Yeah really! No CAI is worth more than $100. Even then. Jeesh! I could probably fab up a better more effecient one with all my sheet metal experience but itd look pretty redneck haha

if my friend doesnt by this bbk intake i have i can try to setup something cheap with u.. ill let u know.. its brand new. just i have another intake.
