Hey, first post in this forums

Brought home my '02 Mustang GT last week...got a great deal on it, but it needs some work. My center console lights don't work at night when the headlights go on...by center consoles, I mean the A/C controls, and the stereo..nothing lights up, and it's pretty hard to use anything in the dark without turning an inteiror light on.

My guess is either a blown bulb behind the console, or a blown fuse. I checked out the manual for the car, and couldn't find anything in the fuse diagram about a center console fuse.

Any suggestions before I pull the console apart looking for a bulb to replace? Is there a fuse for it?

did you turn the ****? it acts as a dimmer lol

Yeah, I turned the ****...that was the first thing I tried.

Still, nothing comes on...I'm guessing its a blown fuse or light.

Any other suggestions?
