ITs you are happy with it (color, interior, etc...) grab it. Thats a nice car. 9500 would be a god deal. Talk him down a bit.

sounds pretty good - offer 8 and go from there... but 9500 or so for that mileage seems pretty fair

I have the same year and color and love it. I have 80K, drive it every day, and have only had minor issues. I'd say try to go closer to $9K though

find a 96-98 cobra for about the same price if you like speed, then you'd be happy and wouldn't have to mod it to hell to have a fast 2v.

Frequently mileage isn't a good indicator of "Is this car a good buy?"

I prefer to buy from private sellers cuz you can look them in the eye and read them, if you've ever traded in your car you know you'll get raped, more often than not people trade in cars because it's a royal PITA.

If a dealer wants to sell you a car for 10 g's They probably bought if for 8 g's. (speaking out of my *** there) Either the trading in party had more money than brains, or there was something seriously wrong with the car.

Oh yeah, forgot to add...

Depending on where your located and how much snow you get, you can find a KILLER deal on a stang this time of year.

I bought my 2000 GT in 12/03 in chicagowith 16,000 on the clock for $12,685. For some reason things were different then. You could buy a new2004 GT for $3,000 off msrp and a new'03 GT for $4,000 off msrp. These were manuf. rebates. Too bad things still aren't like that.
