Air Flow Increase... HELP ME!!!!

Well i am looking to do some early Christmas shopping. And my fiance' is really into Mustangs, fact is i used to be a "ricer" boy but she turned me into buying my stang and loving them ever since.
But anyways.... she has a 97' GT Convt. I am looking at buying her somethings to make her car move better. For her B-Day I bought flowmaster cat backs.
But now I am looking at buying say a CIA, 80mm MAM, 75mm Throttle B., Trick Flow Upper Plenium, (maybe headers...and an H-pipe[this not till later in life]) Also I will get the 3/8" phenolic spacer for the upper plenuim.
My question is will the car run right if i do all this? Are these the right sizes in mm? Just wonding if the air flow will add much HP? Will i need the computer re-burned? Just any help is appercited.
I am a 5.0 guy so I dont know much about how this car works!!!! THANKS A LOT!!!!!

You'll want a 70mm throttle body max. Of all those though I'd do the h-pipe first, because that will be the biggest hp improver of the all, it will be the cheapest, and it will make them Flowmasters sound like their on steroids.

I agree with MD on the 70mm. Unless you are opening up the heads and a bigger cam. Get her a set of PI heads and intake, and while you're at it you can get me some as well. I love Christmas.

Ok got it 70mm throttle body.

Well H-pipw first sounds good I can do that! But I was thinking long tube headers.... so Id need to buy both at same time correct, if i wanted to attach the H-pipe?

And is it as much of a bitch to install long tubes on the 4.6 as it is on the 5.0's?

As for the heads... Im going with AFR for my car.... actually i might order those today..

Thanks!!!

Well with cats I suppose its not the cheapest, but still the best bang for the buck

Installing headers on the 4.6 is a real pain. If you are a good mechanic the you can probably do it, otherwise I would take it to a raceshop and have them do it.

Ok well I am def. not a good mechanic when it comes to that kinda thing.

But her dad is, but he's kind of a pain when it comes to getting him to do something! So I imagine im going to have to take it to a race shop... but thats probably gonna run my a pretty penny huh????

And going with the 70mm throttle body... i should use the 80mm mam? Or should i go with the 73mam or 75mm.... or what?

As for the long tube headers... they require a different h-pipe correct.. then then stock or shorty headers....
