Default New Stereo Installed with Pics

I just installed the Pioneer 6800 with the iPod andSirius Adapter. It was an easy install once I got the Metra Harness. All plug and play. The harness let me keep the factory amps in play, which was nice. So it can be done. I know there is alot of debate on the forums about replacing the Mach 460, but it is very easy to replace and keep the factory amps. If anyone has any questions let me know. Ipod is controlled by the headunit. Let me know what you think.

I

That is a neat trick if you were able to swap out just the head unit & keep the rest of the Mach460 system. So you say it sounds just fine? Even when you crank it up? All the speakers working?

I used the Metra wiring harness. It was all plug and play, sounds the same just better quality and louder. Factory amps are still in and all the speakers are working. Couldnt be easier.

i just installed the alpine iva-w200. its a double din touch screen. i used the schose wireing harness with the rca's on it to keep the factory mach 460 amps working. but i also added a kicker l7 to it. i personaly think the aftermarket head units with the adaptors to use the mach 460 amps sound 1000000000 times better. imo
