Default Help a guy out.

Just recently I noticed that the little panel on the passenger side door that houses the window and door lock switches has started to come loose from the door panel. I know its nothing catastrophic, but if anyone has had this problem before and knows how to rememdy the situation, that infowould surely make him a god among men. I've alread tried pushing on it as hard asI could. Thanks

What year is it? Maybe it's covered under warranty.

I also have an '04. It's covered under warranty, but I understand about avoiding the dealership.

never had that problem before, but id imagine the clips on the panel itself came loose. they are metal clips, you might be able to take the panel off and glue the clips back in place, or while you have it off inspect the hole for the clips in the door panel.

Push it back in. Worked on mine. Hasn't really looked much better than that from the showroom floor. If it was a Lincoln, I'd be more aggressive in fixing it. But, I bought this car for it's fuel economy and power.

Mine does it on the drivers side. I just keep pushing it back in. As long as it doesn't rattle or make any noise when I drive then I'm cool.

Mine does the same on the passenger side. I have tried to push it in, take it apart etc but nothing has worked for me yet.
