Default Gurgling Heater Core?

With this frigid temp of course im using my heat, and once I have the vehicle shut off you can hear a gurgle from the area where the heater core is located, sounds like bubbles kinda, im guessing a leak or loss in pressure in the heater core? what should I expect? Dont see any evident signs of coolant loss or leak yet, but is it to come? Or is the 0 to negative 15 degree weather playing the culprit. I hope its normal but am sure its not. =/

If it is on its way out, i hope it makes it through winter, cause colorado is having it rough! Plus funds to replacement are no where in sight!
