Saleen charger for 2 grand?
What do ya think... I know a guy with a 99 S281SC, He says he will take 2000 for his saleen charger setup.. he plans to upgrade to a KB or a procharger. I think its the Eaton M90 blower on a 99 right? Assuming I have to buy a fuel pump, injectors and have it tuned.. is this a decent price?
What are typical hp numbers with a saleen charger? I was figuring about 360 er so on a full exhaust car. I realize they are not as efficient as others, but i'm not sure i'm ready to spend $4000+ on other kits.
Here is the car its from, its actually for sell, but has been that way for some time now. I considered just trying to trade:

any input?

as long as miles are low, thats not that bad, your still going to hit a peak with the stock supercharger and want to go KB, so its all up to what you want to do with your stang. i would reccomend a vortech or procharger kit for another grand or so, and that way you can keep your plenum and TB and save gas milage as well, and get great power out of it as well

As far as 500 hp.. that may just be a sales pitch. I heard it had a stroker bottom end... it would have to have had some bottom end work done if it actually has 500hp.
