Well at least your in college. I graduated high school and i was grandfathered in a 35k/year job. I want to go but ehh. I dunno. I should im only 20. But i know how you feel. I was working at a grocery store when i bought my old 5.0 Then i saved by working two jobs like someone ^ mentioned. Then i took the cobra over from my bro. He was stupid. Its in my moms name and he was the cosigner. He wasnt making the payments so we had his name took off and mine put on.

Just slowly but surely get full bolt ons. Then once you get out of college get a s/c

I'm in exactly the same boat as you and was a little disappointed when I arrived at the same epiphany, haha. I'm 20 and a junior in college, so money is definitely tight. My plan is pretty much just to enhance the driving experience and make the car look better. I've only done i/e and upgraded the cd player and two of the front speakers. My plan for the future is to get a shifter and do some simple appearance mods to make the car look a little cleaner - e.g. smoked headlights, grill delete, etc. Nothing major, in other words. Until I get out of college and get a real job, it's not worth it to dump money into a car because then I don't have money for anything else.

Anyway, I think your thinking is right. Hf with your car.

Yup. 16" wheels were stock with GT's until 2001. The 17" wheels were options.
