The difference between 3.73's & 4.10's is...

3.73's suck. 4.10's kick *****.

Get 4.10's or ride a scooter.

Dan, even with FI you'd go 4.10's? I am kinda wishing i went 4.10's now that i've got the 3.73's in, but i keep telling myself that i'll be better off later with the blower. Dont get me wrong, theres alot more response and i can feel a big difference, but i went with 3.73's cause i'm saving for a blower in about 3 months. And if anyone cares, I got my gears off ebay for $75 delivered. They were used, but the wear pattern was exceptional. I've got 500 miles on them now, no whine or anything, so if someone wants the guys name and ebay name, just let me know. He does sell quality stuff. I think he's also got a 31 spline traction lok for like 100$.

Do you plan on supercharging your car?

I can't comprehend why people would spend major cash to supercharge their car and not work the suspension. I should be one to talk...since I can't get traction to save my life...LOL

LCA's & drag radials will go a long way with helping you plant 4.10's with a SC. If your goal is to run the quickest ET possible, then 4.10's will be a much better gear than 3.73 at the track. If you are going to be buying LCA's, buying drag radials ETC...there is no performance reason to go with 3.73's over 4.10's.

ORIGINAL: rbstang

ORIGINAL: LX90

If you're not gonna S/C it for that long, just go 4.10s for now, then buy 3.73s when you go FI. That's what I'm doing.
what a waste of money... i sure hope you can install your own gears or have a friend who can do it cheap....

For $50 in tools, anyone can do their own gears.
