Default gasket help

does anybody know the ford part number for the gasket that goes in between the h-pipe and manifold? my mac o/r h-pipe is leaking from their and i want to change from their crappy paper gasket to the ford metal one. thanks.

Whats wrong with the original metal one? Just use that one if its still ok. It should be. I used mine and threw away the paper one.

i cant find the original metal one, thats why i wanted to get a new one. i went to ford and the guys there must be idiots, they didnt know what i was talking about even after i explained it to them and even showed them where it was on the car. maybe if i can get a part number then they can just look it up.

Ok, if the dealership is that stupid, then I would suggest contacting www.rockauto.com and explain to them what your looking for. They are real good peopleto deal with. I bought lots of parts from them and never had a problem. Hopefully this will help out. Good luck.

Not real bad, but you will notice a big difference in the way the exhaust smells for sure.

Pretty much. [8D] But if you have a MAC midpipe, they smell really bad for a few days because of the coating on them.
