My BBK CAI gives a swoosh sound every time I step on the gas...it sounds like it is coming from the back of the motor, I think because the sound is resonating through the whole fender. I'd bet that is what it is...

my bbk cai kinda freaked me out by the sounds it makes, not so much on the throttle, but while its idling.....its prolly just "normal" for the bbks

Is it really noticeable at low RPM ? Or when your driving normal, not getting into it at all ?

I'm pretty sure it's not my intake because it does it when stopped too. I knowthe sound of an intakeunder throttle anyways.The sound doesn't change when throttle is applied either, so I knowit isn't the intake tract.
To give a better example of the sound. It sounds likea tank of compressed gas is inside my dash and leaking out.
