Dont do the TB/Plenum w/o an intake, but if you don't have gears, then I suggest them first because they will make a bigger difference.

I just saw you have gears, lol, but a steeper set such as 4.10's would be better. Also a PI swap should be considered before bolt-ons so they will make more of a difference.

i don't really wanna change my gears cause its a daily driver and i am getting 25mpg and don't realy wanna loose that i drive 65 miles round trip 6 days a week.

Then I would hold off and do a PI swap. I have heard bolt-ons do nothing for non PI cars (not that they do that much on PI 2V's anyways, lol).

what is PI? i am new at the mustang stuff i have had mine for about a amonth and its the first one i have always wanted one and so i got it and i am trying to learn at the same time

The 99-04 stangs have PI (performance improved) engines, which explains why they have more power compared to 96-98 4.6 GT's. The 96-98's can do a "PI swap" though which involves getting the cams, heads, and intake manifold off of a 99-04 GTand putting them ontheir car. It's a direct replacement.This will up your cars hp to what a99-04 GTproduces.
