My local tuner told me NGK TR6's have to be changed every 6k. Is this true?

my bother has them in his 04 gto with a 100 shot been in there for 30,000 miles no worries at all.

They actually are a very reputable tuner that is very well known in the KC area. They are used to dealing with high HP cars, so maybe his experience with this plug is with cars that need them to be changed more frequently.

i change every 20k, that is plenty safe.
