Default Any PTV issues???!!

If i want to get comp cams 278's, and put them in my 99 GT motor that is stock except for forged internals (all stock length and sizes) will there be any PTV issues or any other problems i should know about? also will there be any problems with 270's either. With both I WILL BE USING comp beehive valve springs. Anyone who has either ofthese, any info will be helpful thanks!!!

Yes you will have big problems. With 270's or 278's you need to have your pistons flycut and you need to have ported or aftermarket heads. No way around it really.

if they are installed correctly you don't need your pistons notched. You must have the cams degreed and adjusted or you will have PTV.
