1999 351 mustang gt

Default 1999 351 mustang gt

ok i have one mian thing to ask i own a black 1999 mustang gt course i blew the junky mod motor that come factory last year and since then i have been in the slow process of putting another engine in it but what i want to know if this has been done b4 because i have already done it what i mean is i have taken 351w and placed it perfectly in my car and still using the factory k frame no its not a drag car everything that came factory is on the car all the wireing and i have tubed nothign dont plane to i want my car to be rare but what i want to know has anyone ever heard of or done it as in made a street legal 99-04 mustang with such an engine swap

my other question is what should my horse power be i have skat long rode 410 stroker eldabrok vitcor jr heads and intake holey 850 carburater full length headers and its pushing 10.5 compresion pump gas what should my hourse power rating be and if ya have any question on what motor mounts and all i used then let me know cus im still runing my stock k fram

351W=302W for mounting. You'll need different headers, of course, due to the height.

If you only get 400hp at the flywheel from a 351, you definitely need to get rid of the economy cam and go for something that actually lopes. Of course, with the right cam, you can make a 200hp torque monster outa that 410!!!

yeah i used 95 mustang motor mounts when they still had the 302 in them fit great. and as for the cam im planing on running around 590-600 lift headers clear better then when it had the stock motor im using hooker full lenght for a 351

to answer ur first part i dont kno how u got hte 351 in there and fit it correctly, but if u get a k memeber out of a fox it should work u do need one that will fit a 302 so maybe a sn95 k member might be better

to answer the second part if u dont have a cam to go with it then i would just say about 320 wheel at most, but if u put a huge cam somethin over .550 lift, then u will see an easy 400 wheel from it. the edy heads for a 351 are good heads,

ok i lowerd the motor mount thats made on the k fram o nthe drivers side be cause the mod motors are not the same on boths sides and i then took and cut and re welded the motor mounts that attach to the block of course they are from a 95 and they are now solid motor mounts and yeah im not doen building the engine yet but like i said im goign with 590-600
