RE: Will the predator tuner diagnose other fords?
I always thought it would work for other models including the F-150 truck. Do you have the original box? It should say on the box or instructions or go to the diablo site and check it out.
By the way the Predator has a very lame tune as I had one for a while. It adds just about NO TIMING ADVANCE. Reading the manual it adds up to 10% to the STOCK tune at WOT only. The stock tune calls for 10* at 4k rpm's and 16* at 5K rpm's according to Brenspeed. 10% of 10 is 1 and 10% of 16 is 1.6 so it's adding 1* to 1.6* midrange!
Brent sets his 93 tunes at 23* at 4K and 24* at 5K rpm's. So he told me anyways when I got my Steeda timing adjuter to add on toip of the predator tune. I added 6* on top of the 10% the predator allowed. Sorry to get off topic but just wanted to share the info and if this is not correct will someone who knows the stock timing please jump in here? Thanks, mark
