Just to give a point of reference, the 03/04 supercharged cobra's have 3.55 gears. Usually guys don't bother changing the gears in them cause it seems to work well with the forced induction. Some guys change them out, but really sticky tires are needed for that. Since your auto, 2V, and do some highway driving... I would 3.73's would work well for you. Its still a matter of opinion but just my 0.02. Does Ford Racing make the 3.90's? I thoughtfor some reason they didnt.
None that I've found. I don't think they do. If you want 3.90 you're going with Motive or someone like that. That's what's stopping me from going 3.90 which makes it hard to decide 3.73 or 4.10 because the longer I have the car, the more I think I might go FI eventually.

I have 3.73's, and feel sorry for anyone who has anything steeper. I have to shift into 5th at about 115, how STUPID is that?

If you aren't "1/4 mile only", I'd stick with 3.73's.

And this is coming from a guy who is scraping to get a certain timeslip, and still not feeling bad AT ALL for getting 3.73's. If I had gotten a higher gear, I'd have met my goal by now. If I could would I make the switch? Hellz to the no.

3.90s are best made by motive, who actually made FRPP gears.. there made from the same materials... Dont be worried about motive gears, as long as they're installed fine, they'll be straight...

Everyone always seems to say 4.10s.
Well I have frpp 4.10s with the 3650s high *** 5th of .62 and I am here to tell you.. if you drive alot at say, 70 mph + you should consider a higher gear.

I wish I went with 3.90s
Thanks for that info!!
