Default Reccomendation for a Torque converter for my 2002 GT?

I would like a Tq converter for my 2002 GT. Stall speed would be best in the 2400-2800 range (?). Can someone reccomend one to me (with a link please). While im at it i was thinking about a shift kit. Any ideas on that also? Thanks guys

I'm also thinking of these things...planning way ahead because it won't happen soon.

Heres a shift kit on Ebay I was thinking about. There are always several on there...I don't know if this is a good one or not, I need more info.

I can't offer much on the TC except I think you'd be safe to bump up stall range to 3000-3500.

I think it would be streetable at that range. There was another thread talking about this, and I think 3200-3300 was suggested for a dd...I'll see if I can find it when I have time.

http://www.artcarr.com/index.cfm

If your serious about your Stang and are into the top quality stuff give them an e-mail or call. They will custom build you a converter based on your specific mods/wieght/gears/needs. There is nobody better then Art Carr as far as Torque Converters IMO. Atleast give them a call they will talk to you over the phone about whats available/cost wise (they arent cheap). Then again, if your looking for run of the mill so-so cheap performance, theres always B&M and TCI.
