I have a completely stock Dark Shadow Grey '03 GT 5 speed and was wondering which you guys prefer... The Paxton Novi ... or.... The Vortech??? Also what is noise like, I love the kenne bell whine, but can't afford it, so which out of the 2 would you guys prefer on your cars??? Please respond?!!?!!?!!

both are very respsectable companies....between the two they are pretty evenly matched. im pretty set on the vortech but other people could have different oppinions. in this case go with what your wallet agrees on.

So what is the sound like? Anything like a screw type supercharger, or what can I expect? Also what is the install like? I'm no mechanic, but I'm not ignorant to tools either...

IMO it sounds nothin like a KB.....only thing that sounds like a KB is a KB, but when it comes to performance you want a centri, and if you want the wow factor then go with the KB and pay the extra 2k.

centri's sound like jet engines if you get a big enough one.

they whistle and sing to you at idle and are almost quiet under throttle. they also have that nifty little *PSSHHHHHTTT* like a turbo has when you let off out of boost.

It all depends on what you want the novi 2000 can spin up to 27 psi, the vortech t-trim can go up to 25 or so psi but costs alot more.
The vortech mongoose kit from MPH is a great deal, that's what I have and I love it!
