275max will work, some places might not do it, you will probably have some side wall flex but overall you will be fine. You looking to go wider for a d/r for track or what ?

245 up front and 275 in back if you like a lot of overhanging rubber.

275 on an 8" is acceptable, though, WILL look stretched and may impact handling... 315 on a 9"...? No way. I've got a 295 on a 10" wheel and it's perfectly aligned, I wouldn't go wider than 305... 315 on 10" is even a stretch.

Stock wheels are 8", stock tires are 245, so that is safe. You could do 255/265 without it being too horrible, though I personally wouldn't go that high.

I have a 9 inch rim up front and please take it from me, don't go too big because every dip in the road your car will pull towards it.

I wanted wider for looks, but I do not want to sacrifice handling at all. I will go 245 probably.

i have 275s on the back and the are awsome! i would stick to a 245 up front.
