Default YAY!

Well guys, after a long time of having my good for nothing no-muffler loud and obnoxious exhaust, i got a new one today!!! YAY!!! lol... Well, I got 2.5" piping from the manifolds to the back, with a x-pipe, and Imco Mufflers. I must admit, for being a budget system, and being custom made, it sounds pretty damn good. And thanks to Ceekay84, i bought a BBK CAI!!! So the modding frenzy has begun. Tomorrow morning I'll be taking a 35 min drive to VMP Tuning, and buying a SCT Xcal-2. I've heard its the best tuner. Thank you guys for all the help along the way. Next I plan on doing 4.10 gears, and DD Anthracite bullets, with 315's in the back.

Well I'm either buying used or the best possible deal i can get you know? I got the BBK for $50. And the exhaust was $450 frommanifolds to tips. The Xcal-2 I'll be paying full price for. But if I can find other little things like TB/Plenum or LT's used, I'll jump on it QUICK! So far including the non-paid for tuner, I'm at $900... Not too bad. I figure another ~$200 for TB/Plenum combo, ~$700 for LT's installed, and ~$400 for gears installed. ~$2200, for full bolt-ons aint bad?

So i got my XCal 2 today with 3 custom tunes from VMP. Justin is a great guy, I definately recommend him to anyone looking for a tune, or tuner. The 3 tunes i got were the 93-oct performance, 87-oct performance, and 87-oct gas mileage tunes. On the 93 Performance, with my new mods, the butt dyno, can definately feel a difference when pulling in the higher RPM range. I love the feel of my car now. It runs alot smoother, and performance is definately there. I wanna get it on a dyno and see what it puts down as a baseline before I go into heavier modding.
