If you get the SLP X-pipe, you can interchange them. If you live in a state where you need cats, like I do, when emisions time comes, just put the cats back on. That's what's nice about the whole SLP set up. You can interchange everything. Just don't get them welded, cause then your screwed. And yes...LT's are comming soon.

Aftermarket can be had for $129. shipped(PYPES from www.rpmoutlet.com) so why bother cutting and welding 8 sections?
As for the previous poster LT's add next to zero HP to a 4.6 unless headwork and cams are included. This is fact from a vendor who sells headers so I will not mention his name. There is also a member here who added BBK LT's and even on a dyno he could not get ANY HP! I believe he goes by V10Stang. Guys spending hard earned cash on a 2v and for what, an expensive slow car? Save for a KB SC at $3900. that comes with all you will need to add 43.5% power. Man catbacks add about 3-4 HP over stock. My mid pipe has 2 cats. If somebody could show that an uncatted mid pipe added some HP I might consider spending the $129. but to simply make the car louder is not my goal. Sorry if I have offended anyone but I spent $2350. and went .47 quicker and 5-6 mph quicker on a Passport timer. Sorry but the timer IS ACCURATE. That $2350. did not include Bullitts and 315/35's out back for decent traction.

i agree, i got longtubes cuz i currently have a sq trim waiting to be installed. Only do headers if you plan on doing some sort of f/i or head/intake/cam work

LOL hell yeah to that Cheap upgrades... I thought of that but you would need one hell of a tool to get in and beat out that converter crap.

Yea...I know LT's don't do crap unless you have heads/cams. I'm gonna be getting the patriot heads and cams as well, so I'm not to worried about it.

I have an O/R X pipe and liver in California. Naturally a mustang is going to be louder then your average rice burner and cops have better things to do than look under my car. As long as you dont pull next to a cop car with the windows down with side exhaust coatless you have NOTHING to worry about besides smog.
