Default 1/4 times from lastnight(first time)

the place was packed, waited in line for 2 hrs for my first run which was horrible. Was lucky to get a second and did alot better.

FIRST RUN- 2.567 60ft

10.359 1/8@75.98

15.4 1/4@97.85

SECOND RUN- 2.236 60ft

9.271 1/8@78.45

14.231 1/4@99.18

First run i just dropped the clutch at 2200 and went straight to wheelspin, it was my first time launchingat the track. The second time i dont think i spun at all, eased it out at about 1500. I'm very happy with my results, i was expecting mid to high 14's, would've got a few more passes but the place was packed!!

My car is a stock 02 GT 5spd

14.2 is about avg for an avg driver, but get that 60ft time down to about 2.1x or so, and you could hit 14.0x.

on the seccond pass i bogged just a little on the launch so i'm hoping next time to get my 60ft down.
Within the first 30 min i saw 4-6 New Edge GT's running mid to high 14's with mods so i wasnt expecting to do any better than that. I know my time may be avg but i feel good about what i ran. Second pass was with amodded Lightning that ran a 13.8.Dont know what his deal was.

So with a 14.2 1/4 and my 60ft being 2.2, if i got that down to 2 flat or 1.9 i could be looking at a 13.9

no...my car stock ran a 8.8 on stock tires i believe. your 1/8th should be in the 8s, but otherwise good job, get that 60 foot down

and my "track buddy" ran an 8.7 with just flowmasters and street tires.

SO IS A 9.2 1/8 A GOOD TIME?

9.2 is ok for a stock stang. I was only able to get it down to 9.0 with bolt ons.

14.2** is a darn good time for 2nd time and STOCK.... try to limit the wheel spin somemore to where it just barks off the line, and into 2nd, and you'll be in the 8's on the 8th, and maybe a 14flat

but then again it all depends on track/weather conditions... dense cold air is great for the motor, but not for the track/traction!

what track were you at??
