STAGE 3 ROUSH SUPERCHARGER 96-98
Hi Again:
By this time you all know of my never ending quest to get my 04 GT gas mileage up.Ijust finishedcompiling info and thought I was ready to order some parts thena pretty good deal came up for a supercharger. My question is will a STAGE 3 ROUSH SUPERCHARGER 96-98 fit my 04 GT?? This is a weird supercharger setup with the intake manifold resting on top of the supercharger. Also the intake manifold has a built in roush plenum that you would attach your TB to. Any info on this would help out greatly. I'll see if I can upload a pic.
Thanks Guys: Fantor

not sure about those types, i know centri style blowers are pretty universal from 96-04, just need a new mounting bracket. i'd call someone up and ask. may just be a small part you need to get it to bolt up.

Thats a Ford Racing Supercharger (FRPP/SVO) that Roush cast his name in.
You can put it on your heads...a guy on Corral.net has a 96-98 FRPP blower on a PI engine and he said it bolted on with no issues.
The only problem is you may have to adjust the fuels rails some.
If you want to get first hand info go to www.corral.net and look up member Inverted and shoot him a message.
So whats the great deal? They originally sold for @$3000 for the kit but around 2002 Roush was selling them off at $1800 for the complete kit so a few guys got great deals.

damn! $1800 isn't bad at all.
what kind of numbers did this guy put down? i can't imagine it's a high number blower.

he was at 330rwhp then switched from Comp 268 cams to Crower st2 blower cams and a 90mm LMAF and 42lb injectors and a SCT dyno tune. That gave him the 404rwhp. The tune that comes with the kit is junk and the 30lb injectors aren't enough. Thatssome of the reasons guys with these kits were only getting 300-340rwhp a few years ago but with the upgrades the blowers are putting out more power. Its still not gonna get you what a KB can but its a decent blower for a Daily Driven car. If you can find them cheap then they are worth it.

Thanks for the info guy's. I shot an IM to Inverted over at corral net for more info on this unit. If anyone knows what else is needed to install this supercharger please post further info.
