Default yea i am sure its been asked 1000 times...

I am looking to get some stage 2 cams for my Bullitt from VT... I wanna know everything i will need to go with the cams to get it running rite...

well congrats on the cams, but i must say they are really not needed for most people... for the money your close to a s/c (or gettin realistically close to collecting components)... so I would say save your money if you doing this for power... but everybody loves a cammn motor, I guess to offer any valuable opinion I would like to know your use for the car and what you want for the end result

Ok, im actually headed out to the garage in a few to continue installing my stage 2 cams in my 03. Ur gonna want to get valve springs if you dont already have them, along with the valve spring compressor tool(OTC 7928). You should replace the crank pulley bolt with an ARP one from Summit (about 22 bucks). The valve cover gaskets and timing cover gaskets are reusable so your good on those. After you get them installed, your gonna need to get a tune. Also since your car is an 01, you may or may not need cam gears. I know sometime in 01 there was a cut off and they started going to bolt on cam gears as opposed to pressed on ones, but youll know as soon as you pull your valve cover off which ones you have. Right now thats all I can think of. Hope this helps...
