Default Removing emblems

What is the best way to remove emblems off the truck and fenders without messing up the paint?

I think blow dryer and dental floss for the ones that are just stuck on with adhesive

Best time of year to do this is during a very hot/sunny summer day. The kind of day where you burn your feet ifwalking barefoot on the road.

I was wondering this too because I'm getting ready to order my "5.1 stroker" emblems for the fenders.

As far as I know the fender badges have two holes--I know the trunk lid badges (GT and Ford) have holes--the good news is that if you take 'em off (use dental floss or braided fishing line)you can always reinstall them using that 3M gray moulding & badge tape sold at your FLAPS...

Those emblems should be big enough to cover the holes - at least thats what they say at 50resto and AM.com

I don't know if there are mounting holes... there very well could be... no biggie though, best way is to heat it up with a heat gun or hair dryer, and pull it right off... I guess fishing line or dental floss could work, never used em'. Any excess sticky residue from the emblem can be removed with lighter fluid or gas!
